North Tyneside Sensory Service at Beacon Hill

The Sensory Support Service comprises of a team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants. Pupils or students with significant hearing or visual difficulties can be referred to us. Referrals are accepted from parents,schools and other professionals. The Service works with children and young people from 0-19yrs. Direct teaching,support and advice are provided to individuals,families and schools. Teachers and teaching assistants work in mainstream schools,special schools and home environments.
